What is Scheduled?

The only app that enables you to schedule in prewritten text messages for a specific time and date. You can even have them be send automatically, for a small fee. Scheduled arose out of the motivation to help people be thoughtful on the moment that it matters.

People are busier than ever, and people grow more forgetful everyday. Because of that, thoughtful messages often get forgotten first. We aim to fix that. Because who doesn’t love a sincere “Congratulations!”, or a “Get well soon <3”?

We are featured in more than 20 countries. And if you have the time, check out this article on our app from TechCrunch.

My message didn’t sent via Auto Send on iOS

That’s unfortunate 🙁 That your message didn’t send could have multiple causes:

  1. Lack of internet connection: Did you have an internet connection when you scheduled the message? We need to upload the message to our database to schedule the message.
  2. Incorrect numbers: Are you 100% sure that your numbers were correct? Make sure the mobile phone numbers you enter are correct and valid. This way you won’t waste balance on messages sent to non-existent phone numbers.
  3. Add country codes: Format all your numbers internationally. As we send from our platform all over the world you will need the country prefix. Add the country prefix, and take off the + and the first 0 from the number.
  4. Disconnected phone of the recipient: The telephone of the recipient was turned off or out of network coverage
  5. Restart the device: The messages are processed by an Application Provider and sends the messages to the recipients Telecom provider. Sometimes there is a bug or hick up between those two providers. This can be solved by restarting the recipients device.
  6. No messages to network providers: We can’t send messages to network provider numbers, like “1233”.

Still having trouble with Auto Send? Please send us your number and the number of the recipient when you are sure everything was correct.

My message was sent by a different number on iOS, why?

The USA, Canada, Belgium and Czech have restrictions regarding the outgoing phone number. Because of this, your Auto Send messages may be sent from a virtual number. You can add a signature to make sure your contacts know who sent the message. However, users who purchase the Scheduled for Business plan get a virtual, fixed phone number with Auto Send.

The recipient will reply to this virtual number. We are currently busy with adding a feature that you also see this replies in the app. We will release this soon.

You cán however schedule a message and send it via your own number. But you’ll have to go about it the traditional way; schedule a message so you’ll get reminded. Then click that notification when you get it, go to the app, and click send via iMessage. It will then be send from your own number.

Can I send a message from my own number, or a custom number?

You can send messages from your own number via iMessage, provided you don’t use the Auto Send option. If you do use the Auto Send option while you have the Premium plan, you’ll get a randomly assigned virtual number.

However, if you’ve purchased the Business plan, then you’ll get your own fixed, virtual number. That means your contacts will from then on get your messages from the same number.

How many credits does each SMS Auto Send message cost?

Just 1 credit per message sent. If you message 5 people at once, then you’ll use up 5 credits.

Why do I need credits?

Using credits is only applicable to iOS users. Credits aren’t a necessity, only if you’re using the Auto Send feature. Since messages sent via Auto Send are send through a SMS gateway, it comes with a small fee. You buy credits so we can pay that fee. Without it, we couldn’t offer you the Auto Send feature.

  • 10 Credits $2.99

  • 50 Credits $8.99

How much is the business plan?

The price of the business plan depends on the number of messages you want to send. The fixed number will be a new number we will give you. So you will always send messages from this number. Nobody else will use this number.

I can’t find the reply in iMessage

We are not able to use functions from iMessage to Auto Send the messages. Apple is, unfortunately, rather strict with these types of things. That’s why we’re forced to use an external SMS gateway to handle the Auto Send messages. These messages are not send via iMessage, so they won’t show up in your iMessage history.

When you don’t use Auto Send to send a message, we’ll send you a notification. Tap it, and confirm that you want to send the message. Then your message will get sent via iMessage.

Can I Auto Send messages via Whatsapp or Facebook Messenger?

We don’t support Auto Send for Whatsapp or Facebook Messenger. Whatsapp and Facebook doesn’t allow us to :(.

You are able to schedule messages for Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp by scheduling messages without enabling the Auto Send feature. Then you will get a push notification when a message is scheduled, and you can easily send it with WhatsApp or another messaging service.

Can I join the beta program?

Of course! You can join the TestFlight team if you have an iPhone. Send us an email with your Apple ID. We’re always happy to receive feedback, especially from involved users.
